The Female Photographers of Etsy (fPOE) have been working on something very special… a collaborative book showcasing the photographic talents of it’s team members from around the world. This book is filled to the brim with beautiful photographs. I am so excited to announce that two of my photographs are included in this gorgeous collection.

Secret Santa | Valleyview Alberta Photographer

On Friday, I received a fabulous surprise in the mail! It was a present from my “Secret Santa”!

Just a little while ago, I joined in on a Secret Santa gift exchange with members of the Etsy Alberta Street Team. Each participating member sent a gift to someone. Some people revealed their indentity, but some people remained anonymous. My Santa’s identity is still unknown. So – whoever you are out there… thank you so much for all of the lovely goodies and for all of the thoughtful little notes you wrote on each gift

My present included a bunch of great things… handmade pottery, globe thistle seed pods (which Santa thought would be great to photograph and I couldn’t agree more), the book “Sweetsmoke” by David Fuller (there was note on it saying it was a great read and I will be digging into it once I finish this post — it looks really interesting) and a set of 24 notecards that are colourful and funky.
