This week we could choose anything we wanted to shoot. And, my choice was all about food…
Breakfast…

Travel with me visit Liza and find out what inspired her choice this week.

This oh so sweet and adorable little girl had her first Christmas session a few short months ago and she just came back to visit me again. But, this time it’s for a different special occasion. Her first birthday photo session…

There is something very exciting about photographing babies and being able to capture them as they grow and change. It doesn’t take long for a newborn to grow into a baby who’s sitting on their own… and then turn into a sweet little girl who is toddling around. And, not far into the future, she will be running, jumping, and growing and growing and growing. You want time to slow down so you can soak in these incredible moments in their lives for just a little bit longer. Being able to capture babies and children — for myself and for others — lets me do that… in a way.. by capturing photographs that are snippets of time. Thank you so much to H and T for inviting me to be part of A’s first birthday!

Jenn this is incredible. This makes me want to take my shot off the circle. What a GREAT capture of time. You are so creative and to top it off you can capture what you desire to. I love this shot of time always moving.
You are, seriously, so creative, and inspiring. How you think of these things is beyond me. Love it!!
Very Creative Jenn!
Really cool idea and great execution! This is just awesome. I have been hearing about it all day from Robin and Liza. Great job!
That is SO cool! You are very creative, what an amazing capture. Time not really standing still in a photograph (because it never does in life) but a moment of time moving.
What a great take on the theme this week! I love it!
I’ve seen this done with an analog clock but not a digital one. So clever! Great way to show time!
Brilliant idea, way to capture time moving (literally!)
awesome shot. Love it. How did you do this?
The pitcher plant… the provincial flower of where I am from. I’m playing catch-up with my personal photos and this is one of my favourites from my trip back east this summer. This flower isn’t just pretty and beautifully coloured… it also loves to eat bugs!

Travel with me to visit Heather Leigh Photography, Northern VA to see her beautiful fine art for this month.
