Winter.  Something that graces us for sometimes half the year.  Right now we’re having one of the warmest winters in over 10 years.  And, it is SOOOO nice:)

The snow has fallen, melted, and unearthed flowers that once bloomed in beautiful shades of pink, purple and white.  Winter is not over yet and I’m sure these will soon be covered in a blanket of snow once again.

Travel with me to visit the talented and always funny Amy (Mae) Bowman, Nampa Idaho Photographer and find out what winter is like in her part of the world.

Love this image. Color, texture and light make it so whimsical!

I Love this. So glad that you are having a warmer winter for a change. I know you will miss this when it’s back to freezing cole and tons of snow!

Well enjoy your warm weather! Beautiful shot with all the warm sun.

So beautiful! Gorgeous texture too!

Memories.  One of the wonderful things about the holidays.  Creating new memories while remembering old ones.  Traditions, meals, and family outings help build such beautiful and colourful memories.

One of the things I love about this season is pulling out the decorations that have been in storage for almost a year.  Going through all the things inside of the boxes.  I have an ornament I made in kindergarten, decorations given to us by relatives as gifts, and new additions to the “collection” are added every year.

This sweet snowman has a special place in my heart.  It was given to us by someone who loved this time of year so much.

Travel with me to visit Meghan Boyer, Maryland Lifestyle Photographer, to see her interpretation of this week’s theme.

And…  I hope you have a wonderful holiday season filled with beautiful memories…  both old and new:)
