Thankful Thursday | Valleyview Alberta Photographer

It’s now Week 20 of my 365 days of gratitude project!  Here are the things that I am thankful for this week:

Day 134 – I am thankful for some new books…  all of them are photography related!

Day 135 – I am thankful for new prints.  I love getting packages from the lab!

Day 136 – I am thankful for these pens.  Seriously.  These are my absolute favourite pens!

Day 137 – I am thankful for this little book.  It makes me remember all the fun I had each day!

Day 138 – I am thankful for my latest piece of glass.  I’m quite excited about this focal length!

Day 139 – I am thankful for signs of spring…  spring/summer catalogues!  It’s not quite time for sundresses and shorts here, but maybe it won’t be much longer?!

Day 140 – I am thankful for my new sketchbook.  I’m looking forward to the things I will be putting in it over the next little while.  Fresh new ideas are just waiting to be found.

Ok Jenn, you’ll have to expand on some of these for me – please! I’m intrigued: What is the photography book at the top? And what kind of pens are those? Your print looks beautiful!! And please share – what’s the new glass?? lol

Sure! :) The book on the top is “The Elements of Photography” by Angela Faris Belt. I haven’t read it yet, but it will be the next thing I do read – the photos do look fantastic. If you are looking for a great photography read, I really loved the shutter sister’s expressive photography book!
The pens! Those are these pure liquid ink pens. Just Pilot V5 Hi-Tecpoint pens. I love the fine tips and the liquid ink :)
And, the lens — it’s a 24 1.4. It is such a change from the focal lengths I normally use! I might have a slight addiction to prime lenses ;)

I always learn something new about you with your thankful Thursday. This is great, as always. You defiantly have lots to be thankful for this week!
