Week 8 of my 365 days of gratitude project.  Here are the things that I am thankful for this week:

Day 50 – I am thankful for this soap.  I am actually a huge fan of handmade soap from the Rocky Mountain Soap Company and this is my favourite — grapefruit soap.

Day 51 – I am thankful to celebrate birthdays… especially with homemade chocolate cake!

Day 52 – I am thankful for tires.  They are an important part of getting you places when there’s driving involved.

Day 53 – I am thankful for hot showers.

Day 54 – I am thankful for apps.  I love apps.  Got an app you like?  Let me know…  I’m always looking for new ones

Day 55 – I am thankful for lemonade.  It is like drinking summer — even when it is cold outside!

Day 56 – I am thankful for remembrance.  It is fitting that on today, “Thankful Thursday,” we are celebrating Remembrance Day here in Canada and Veteran’s Day in the US.  I am thankful to all those who have served our country – both in the past and in the present.  I am thankful for what they have done and what they continue to do.  The men and women who have served (and who are serving) our country had the courage to fight for our freedom and they gave us the ability to live life as we do.  This is something that I will never forget and I am incredibly thankful for.

Week 7 of my 365 days of gratitude project!  Here are the things that I am thankful for this week:

Day 43 – I am thankful that we had frost instead of snow…  and temperatures have been staying warm!

Day 44 – I am thankful that there is still something green in my veggie garden.  It’s nice to see some green amongst all the other veggies that have finished growing for the year.

Day 45 – I am thankful for Halloween!  This was my favourite Halloween yet.  So much fun!

Day 46 – I am thankful for homemade pizza.  Yum!

Day 47 – I am thankful for some delicious muffins that are tasty and nutritious.  These ones are orange-date whole wheat muffins.  Not the most mouthwatering name, but they were really good!

Day 48 – I am thankful that someone reminded me about this camera.  So much fun to shoot with!  Gotta love the anticipation of waiting for the photos to develop,

Day 49 – I am thankful for this spunky little cat.  She had a long visit at the vet today, but she is already back to her regular self.
